Shipping Terms & Conditions

When the sender ("Sender") hands over the package in the form of documents and/or other goods ("Package") to HAPPY EXPRESS for delivery, the Sender is deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions of HAPPY EXPRESS Service on the receipt ("Receipt") as follows:

  1. HAPPY EXPRESS is responsible for Packages whose shipping costs have been paid in full (unless there is a specific agreement between HAPPY EXPRESS and the Sender) sent via the HAPPY EXPRESS Service. The package is considered received in good condition if there are no complaints when the package is handed over to the recipient or its representative ("Recipient") by signing proof of receipt of the package by the recipient electronically ("e-POD").
  2. The sender must include Shipping data information and Recipient data information, in the form of full name, telephone number and full address (street name, house number, RT/RW, Kelurahan, District, City and Postal Code) and correctly complete the information regarding the contents of the Package on the Receipt . If there is an error in data information and a discrepancy between the contents of the package and the information regarding the contents of the package on the receipt, then it becomes the full responsibility of the sender and releases HAPPY EXPRESS for violations of the law he has committed in accordance with the provisions of the law of the Republic of Indonesia.
  3. Package packaging, including the positioning of the package in the package, is the responsibility of the sender. At the request of the sender, HAPPY EXPRESS can provide package packaging services according to shipping standards at an additional cost. Damage or loss caused by imperfections in packaging by the Sender is the Sender's responsibility.
  4. HAPPY EXPRESS is not responsible for the following:
    • Loss of use on Packages that are not physically damaged.
    • Packages are delayed, lost or damaged due to force majeure such as natural disasters, riots, rebellions, and other circumstances beyond HAPPY EXPRESS's control.
    • All damage and technical risks of the Package in the form of machinery and electronic goods that occur during the delivery process by HAPPY EXPRESS which causes the Package to not function.
    • Lost opportunity to gain profit as a result of lost, damaged, and late delivery of the Package.
    • Detention, confiscation or destruction of packages by authorized parties including but not limited to: Customs, Quarantine, Police, Attorney, and other authorized agencies.
    • Packages are categorized under Prohibited Packages or High Value Packages as mentioned in point 5 below.
  5. Package contents that are prohibited from being sent via HAPPY EXPRESS:
    • Prohibited Package Categories:
      • Living things (animals and plants), money, securities (cheques, current accounts, bonds, stocks, certificates, KTP, family cards, BPKB, driver's license, birth certificates, etc.), explosives, weapons and their parts, equipment gambling and lottery tickets, drugs and drugs or other prohibited items, wet food, and perishable food.
      • Goods that contravene the law, moral values ​​and can disrupt the stability of security and public order, goods that are categorized under government supervision, goods made of glass, acrylic, and marble.
      • Goods in the category of dangerous, toxic and explosive or flammable chemical goods, unless packed properly and correctly (by attaching a Material Safety Data Sheet and a statement letter for dangerous goods from the customer), alcohol and alcoholic beverages.
    • High value Package Category:
      • Art goods, including works of expertise, talent or talent to be traded, exhibited or even for collection, such as paintings, drawings, vases, wall hangings made of tapestries.
      • Antiques, all types of commodities that show characteristics of the past and have their own value because of their history, age and rarity, such as furniture, cutlery, glassware and collectibles such as coins and stamps.
      • Jewelry, including jewelery made of non-genuine gems, watches and parts of these watches, genuine gems or gemstones (precious or semi-precious stones), craft diamonds (sharpened and shaped) and jewelery made of precious metal.
      • Precious metals, including, inter alia, gold and silver, platinum (except as an integral part of electronic equipment).
      • Electronic products weighing up to 50 kg such as notebooks, digital cameras, and so on.
      • Stamps, liquor excise stamps, tax stamps and Vouchers.
      • High value commodities, such as swallow's nest, animal fur, and silk.
  6. The sender is responsible for protecting the Package with adequate insurance and bears the applicable premium fees. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY OF HAPPY EXPRESS in the event of loss or damage to the Package, the replacement given is in accordance with the description of the goods listed and the value of the Package stated by the Sender (by providing proof of transaction in the form of an original invoice and proof of payment/proof of transfer) or 10 times the shipping fee, whichever is lower, with a maximum reimbursement of IDR 1,000,000 (one million rupiah)/event/receipt for packages other than documents and IDR 100,000 (one hundred thousand rupiah)/event/receipt for packages in the form of documents. The deadline for requesting a replacement is no later than 1x24 hours after the date the package should have been received at the destination for total loss or on the same day on the date of receipt of the package for partial damage/loss.
  7. For Packages that have been replaced by HAPPY EXPRESS, then those Packages become the property of HAPPY EXPRESS

  1. These Terms and Conditions are made in Indonesian and English, if there are differences in interpretation between the Indonesian and English versions, the Indonesian version shall prevail.
  2. HAPPY EXPRESS may at any time make changes or updates to these Terms and Conditions. We recommend that Users read and understand the provisions of these Terms and Conditions from time to time to find out about any changes. By continuing to access and use the Site/Application and other HAPPY EXPRESS Services, the User is deemed to agree to the changes in these Terms and Conditions.
